What is The Dwelling Place?
The Dwelling Place is a retreat, prayer and small conference center in east-central Mississippi that offers individuals, couples and small groups the opportunity to experience Christ in a secluded setting conducive to spiritual contemplation and renewal.
More than anything else, people come here simply to get away, to be still and to pray. We invite you to come, use our Guest House as a resource for your group, or enjoy the solitude of one of our cottages for yourself, and experience God’s healing presence.

Our Mission
Our mission at The Dwelling Place is to provide a peaceful, distraction-free refuge in which individuals and small groups can experience the presence of God through prayer, Bible study, or counseling for spiritual growth or for finding their way through life’s difficult circumstances.
17 Acres of Pines
The Grounds and Property
The facilities at The Dwelling Place welcome individuals, couples and small groups. The cottages and the Guest House offer air-conditioning, private bathrooms and dressing areas, and sleeping, living and kitchen areas. Sheltered spots near our pond are among the many outdoor places for quiet time, prayer and reflection. All of it sits on 17 acres of pine-studded land in a rural setting that is secluded yet close to main highways. A dining hall, a small chapel for indoor worship, and a library are open to our guests.
